- We are a big happy family of 7 - me, my husband, and 5 boys. To answer the most commonly asked questions: Yes, we did want every single child. Yes, we tried for a girl once, but eventually we decided we were happy with whatever we got. And No, I don't have it all together all of the time. In fact, I rarely (if ever) have it all together! We just keep the important things together and try to keep most of the pee off of the toilet seats. At least in mom's bathroom. Sometimes...
Planting More than Flowers...
Children are not lumps of clay that a mother can mold and shape into whatever she thinks would be best. They are seedlings… already pears, pines, or petunias. As gardeners, we can add only sunshine, water, fertilizer, time, and love in order to make that growing plant the most beautiful specimen of what it was intended to be.

Way cute! I love summer too! Just not Texas heat!
I agree with your Mom! I love the freedom of summer but could do without this extreme heat!
